Disney revises Greek Isles cruise to all western Med itinerary

Disney revises Greek Isles cruise to all western Med itinerary
Disney Cruise Line swapped out the Greece, Turkey and Malta calls on its Aug. 1, 2016, Mediterranean and Greek Isles sailing due to unrest and uncertainty in the region.

Instead of calling at Piraeus, Mykonos, Kusadasi and Valletta, Disney Magic will visit Livorno, Italy, and Villefranche, France.

The other ports on the round-trip Barcelona cruise remain the same: Olbia (Sardinia), Civitavecchia (for Rome), Naples, Palermo (Sicily), Cannes and Palma (Majorca).

Travelers were notified this week and will receive an on-board credit to compensate for the changes. Those who wish to cancel can do so without penalty and receive a full refund.

This was Disney's only 2016 cruise with the Greek Isles component.

The last time the line visited Greece was in 2014.
