Favorable weather conditions allowed Meyer Werft to float out Genting Dream on Friday, a day earlier than planned.

The 151,300gt newbuild, first for Asia's Dream Cruises, the new Genting Hong Kong premium brand, emerged from the Papenburg yard's covered building dock II.

Various tests and trials will be carried out in the coming days, ahead of the ship's conveyance along the Ems River, scheduled for mid-September.
