Nearly 50 cruises in the Caribbean, with departures from Miami, Martinique and Guadeloupe
With two prototype ships entering service this year, MSC Meraviglia in June and MSC Seaside in December, MSC Cruises will offer its widest selection of winter routes in 2017/18.

MSC Meraviglia will spend winter in the Mediterranean, while MSC Seaside will sail the Caribbean from PortMiami. More ships in the Caribbean and South America and a strong continued presence in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are among the season's highlights.

In the Caribbean, MSC Seaside and MSC Divina will sail from Miami while MSC Fantasia will cruise from Fort-de-France, Martinique, and Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe. There will be nearly 50 departures to choose from.

MSC Seaside's routes alternate to the eastern and western Caribbean, with San Juan, St. Maarten and Nassau on the eastern itinerary and Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel on the western itinerary.

MSC Fantasia will introduce seven- and 14-night cruises from Martinique or Guadeloupe, debuting a Fantasia-class ship with MSC Yacht Club in the region. New ports include Kingstown in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

In the western Mediterranean, MSC Meraviglia—a ship designed for all seasons with abundant indoor options—will offer seven-night cruises until April 2018. Ports include Barcelona, Palermo and Valletta.

New for 2017/18, MSC Orchestra will offer 10-, 11- and 12-night sailings with the choice of four embarkation ports: Genoa, Marseille, Barcelona and Civitavecchia (Rome). The new 10-night cruise has only one sea day, while the 11-night sailing to Greece, with stops at Corfu, Katakolon and Heraklion, has only two sea days. Also new is a 12-night itinerary including Madeira, the Canary Islands and Morocco.

MSC Cruises will base four ships in South America for the austral summer. MSC Preziosa and MSC Magnifica will offer cruises of up to seven nights from Santos. MSC Poesia will sail eight- and nine-night cruises from Buenos Aires, and MSC Musica will offer a range of cruises from Rio de Janeiro.

Travelers have a choice of more than 70 departures.

MSC Cruises will continue to offer its United Arab Emirates cruises with two embarkation ports: Dubai and Abu Dhabi. MSC Splendida is new to the region.

All itineraries will call at Sir Bani Yas Island beach oasis, exclusive to MSC Cruises on the day the ship visits. Other destinations include Muscat, Oman, the beach town of Khor al Fakkan as well as Doha, Qatar, and Bahrain, both introduced last winter.
