The event is being held over two days for the first time to give delegates the opportunity to inspect Pacific Explorer which arrives at the Overseas Passenger Terminal on August 26.
Pacific Explorer, the latest addition to P&O Cruises Australia’s fleet, is Princess Cruises’ resident 77,000gt Dawn Princess which will be converted at the Sembcorp Marine Admiralty Yard in Singapore. She will make her first South Pacific cruise from Sydney wearing her new name and Southern Cross livery on June 22.
CLIA Australasia md Joel Katz said there will be enhanced networking opportunities and professional development break-out sessions at this year’s Cruise360 which will be held at Hyatt Regency Sydney, the former Four Points by Sheraton which was rebranded late last year after a A$250m redevelopment.
Katz said a ‘dynamic trade show’ will give conference attendees the chance to meet with cruise line representatives, as well as other significant cruise-related suppliers.
Earlier this month CLIA Australasia announced that its 2017 Masters Conference will take place onboard Genting Dream sailing to Japan from Hong Kong on September 16.
