The ship will be based in Barcelona, starting next April.
Norwegian Cruise Line announced the new lineups in the west coast UK port of Liverpool, one-time home to the most famous band in the world.
Fittingly, the launch event took place at the city’s Cavern Club, a latter-day re-creation of the legendary live music venue made famous by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
A version of the venue will be recreated on board Norwegian Epic, and debut during the 11 October sailing.
Two new Broadway shows will also feature on board—'Burn the Floor' (from April 2015) and 'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert – The Musical,' with first curtain up next October.
'We are excited to bring Norwegian Epic to Europe year-round and want to provide our guests with even more exciting entertainment options on the ship that first elevated the on-board entertainment experience,' said Norwegian's Drew Madsen, president and chief operating officer.
The 'Burn the Floor' production transfers after runs on board Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway.
'Priscilla Queen Of The Desert - The Musical' is described as a 'heart-warming, uplifting comedy adventure.'
The Tony Award-winning musical features more than 500 award-winning costumes, 200 extraordinary head-dresses and a hit parade of dance floor favourites, including 'It’s Raining Men,' 'I Will Survive' and 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.' The show will open on the ship’s 18 October voyage.
Norwegian will re-create The Cavern Club experience at sea, rocking cruisers each evening to the sounds of the Beatles, along with other international musicians.
