Two key hires at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

Carlos Hernandez

Previously SVP finance for Atlantis Paradise Island, Hernandez will oversee day-to-day financial operations and help maximize operating performance and economic objectives. He brings more than 25 years of diverse global finance experience working with both SEC registrants and private multinational organizations operating in the hospitality, gaming, real estate, cruise and consumer products industries. His cruise work was at Norwegian Cruise Line.

Hernandez reports to CEO Doug Prothero.

Timo Yrjövuori

Most recently project director at Royal Caribbean International where he oversaw Symphony of the Seas' construction, Yrjövuori, has more than 20 years of experience in pre-contract definition, vessel design, shipbuilding, construction management, delivery and operation. He'll be responsible for monitoring and supporting newbuilding site teams with a specific focus on building standards, quality assurance, data process/reporting and project management.

Yrjövuori reports to Søren Krogsgaard, VP newbuilding and marine operations.
