Seatrade Cruise Med 2024 will be held in Málaga Sept. 11-12.

The news was announced during Seatrade Europe in Hamburg at the MedCruise stand.

‘The Mediterranean is the second most popular cruise destination in the world and I think we all have fond memories of being in Málaga in 2022 for the first major Seatrade Cruise event in Europe after cruising’s return,’ commented Mary Bond, Seatrade Cruise portfolio director.

Sponsors and supporters

Bond thanked key sponsors and supporters, Port of Málaga, Málaga City Council, Costa del Sol Tourism Board and Andalucía Tourist Board.

‘Special mention also to MedCruise which is, and has been, a major supporter and collaborator for Seatrade Cruise Med — an event we have held 13 times since 1996,’ Bond said.

Congratulating Málaga, one of the founding members of MedCruise, on its success in hosting the event again in 2024, MedCruise President Figen Ayan said: ‘We look forward to returning to Málaga next year.’

Málaga Port Authority President Carlos Rubio noted the strong partnerships that were created locally and internationally in delivering last year’s event and said he looks forward to welcoming the cruise community once again to the port city — literally a year from now.
