Long-time Pisa Brothers Travel executive Mary Kleen continues in her role as regional director, USA East/Bermuda.
The decision to transition the name fully to Worldview Travel comes as the Toronto-based company grows rapidly, rolls out new independent contractor programs and implements cutting-edge technology.
'We have dramatically grown the power of the Worldview Travel brand,' said Cheryl Nicholson, evp leisure and loyalty at Worldview Travel. She said the New York City office had been missing out on some of the brand benefits.
'We have a particularly exciting year under way with the recent acquisition of Century Travel in Atlanta, the rollout of our proprietary aDX booking platform for leisure agents and an array of higher commissions and amenities from our expanded procurement team for our exceptional airline, land and cruise programs,' Nicholson continued.
'Waiting eight years to transition the brand speaks to our patience in partnerships and acquisitions,' added Jeff Willner, ceo and owner of TravelEdge, the parent company of Worldview Travel. 'Our focus is on patiently building the best luxury travel agency network in North America and we have made great progress toward that goal.'
With more than $550m in sales, Worldview Travel is the world’s second-largest Virtuoso agency.
