That puts him at No. 1 in the Pacific Northwest as part of the CEOs Against Cancer group and, among thousands of men participating nationally, he's in the Top 20, currently at fourth place.

It's still possible to donate, but time is running out. Pledges must be made during October, the American Cancer Society's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Holland America Line president Orlando Ashford and Seabourn/Cunard North America president Rick Meadows also have each raised thousands of dollars in the Real Men Wear Pink campaign.

Thanking his supporters in an email, Kruse said: 'You amaze me. Not only have we met and exceeded our goal, we blew right through it by a huge margin.' He added: 'I’m proud of us!'
On Saturday morning Kruse and wife Linda were participating in a 5K walk in downtown Seattle, raising additional funds to fight cancer. Those won't be credited to his Real Men Wear Pink drive but Kruse noted it's for a great cause and quipped that he also needs the exercise.
