President Jack Anderson is taking a leave of absence from Crystal to deal with personal matters.

In response to rumors of Anderson's departure, a Crystal spokeperson told Seatrade Cruise News he is taking a leave for personal reasons. She did not address who's handling his reports in the meantime but said 'We expect Jack to be at the inaugural cruises in July and August.'

'Tremendous confidence in the new Crystal team'

Anderson himself said only: 'I have tremendous confidence in the new Crystal team and the exceptional experience they will create.'

A respected veteran cruise line leader with a long tenure at Crystal, Anderson has been building up and leading the Florida office as the brand relaunches under A&K Travel Group.

Crystal Serenity and Symphony transformations

With A&K's support and investment, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony are undergoing transformations focused on bigger suites and reduced occupancy in preparation for resuming service in late July and early September, respectively.

Recently the new Crystal got big votes of confidence and powerful sales and marketing allies by being named a preferred supplier for Signature Travel Network and Virtuoso

Update adds Anderson's expected attendance at Crystal Serenity and Symphony's inaugural cruises
