Carnival Venezia to sail 24/25 winter season from Port Canaveral

Carnival Venezia's Terrazza Carnevale
Leading up to Carnival Venezia's New York debut, Carnival Cruise Line announced a winter 'snowbird' series of departures on the ship from Port Canaveral.

That ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style’ offering will take place in winter 2024/25, then Carnival Venezia will return to New York in spring 2025.

Five Fun Ships from Canaveral

'Carnival Venezia’s seasonal operation in Port Canaveral will bring our deployment there to five vessels and give our valued Carnival guests another great option when sailing from Central Florida,' Carnival President Christine Duffy said.

Carnival Venezia will reposition from New York with a 12-day Southern Caribbean 'Carnival Journeys' cruise that departs Dec. 6, 2024 and visits St. Thomas, St. Croix, Aruba, Curaçao and Grand Turk, arriving at Port Canaveral on Dec. 18.

Mostly weeklong cruises

The ship will embark its first passengers from Port Canaveral on the same day for a four-day Bahamas cruise to Nassau and Freeport.

It will then operate 15 seven-day cruises, rotating itineraries and visiting a variety of destinations, as well as sailing two special 14-day 'Carnival Journeys.'
