Inaugural TUI passenger flight to Singapore from Birmingham serving Marella’s Asia homeport season

TUI Airways celebrates new route from Birmingham to Singapore serving Marella Cruises' Asia deployment
TUI Airways’ inaugural flight from the UK’s Birmingham Airport to Singapore Changi Airport departed Wednesday.

The weekly flight will exclusively serve Marella Cruises’ guests heading to Asia to sail on Marella Discovery 2 for winter 2023/24.

This is the first time that Marella Cruises has homeported out of Singapore, with itineraries including an overnight stay in the city-state. Destinations include Phu My in Vietnam; Malacca, Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia; and Laem Chabang in Thailand.

The rotational cruises will also be complemented with TUI flying from London Gatwick and Manchester Airport. The last flight of the season will depart Birmingham on April 3 2024, with the flights resuming for next winter on December 11, 2024.
