One focuses on the Adriatic coasts of Croatia and Slovenia and the other on the Western Mediterranean.

Sea Cloud, a four-masted barque, began sailing in 1931, originally as the private yacht of Marjorie Merriweather Post.

Both itineraries are studded with archaeological landmarks, with sites both legendary and seldom seen.

Adriatic cruise from Venice to Dubrovnik

'Extraordinary Adriatic: Croatia and Slovenia Under Sail' delves into the legacies of great empires from the Romans to the Venetians. Sea Cloud will visit picturesque old towns from Rovinj to Hvar, where travelers can sample local wines and specialties, and explore important castles and palaces as they sail from Venice to Dubrovnik.

The 10-day trip departs Aug. 17, 2023. Rates begin at $14,670 per person, double occupancy in a Category 1 cabin.

Western Med from Lisbon to Naples

'Sailing the Western Mediterranean: Spain to Corsica' embarks at Lisbon and traces the coast of Iberia, with travelers venturing inland to explore Seville and Granada. Then they'll island-hop across the western Mediterranean from the Balearic Islands to Naples, Italy. Along the way, they'll discover prehistoric monuments on Menorca and Corsica, and charming harbor towns in Mallorca and Sardinia.

The 16-day trip departs April 19, 2023. Fares start at $25,170 per person, double occupancy in a Category 1 cabin.
