A second Regent ship resumes cruising
Regent Seven Seas Cruises' Seven Seas Explorer welcomed travelers back for the first time since the pandemic shutdown. Passengers embarked Oct. 15 in Trieste, Italy, for an eight-day journey through Italy, Croatia and Greece.
Speaking from on board, Regent President and CEO Jason Montague said: 'Our crew have done an outstanding job in preparing for the ship’s return, with the service so seamless it is as if we were never away.'
Seven Seas Explorer follows the return of Seven Seas Splendor Sept. 11. Next to resume will be Seven Seas Mariner Dec. 18 and Seven Seas Navigator Jan. 6, both from Miami, then Seven Seas Voyager Feb. 15 from Barcelona.
Regent has a 100% vaccination requirement for crew and passengers.
