Aurora Expeditions is offering passengers a ‘trip of a lifetime’ to explore Patagonia with an Antarctic voyage
Australia’s Aurora Expeditions is offering passengers to Antarctica the opportunity to add a 10-day ‘Patagonia Discovery Trek.'

There are six itineraries in the programme between November and February 2024 aboard the company’s purpose-built small ships Greg Mortimer and Sylvia Earle that each carry 132 passengers.

Voyages from 24 to nine days

They range from the 24-day 'South Georgia and Antarctic Odyssey' featuring the South Sandwich Islands, the 'Spirit of Antarctica,' 'Antarctic Explorer' and the company’s shortest voyage, the nine-day 'Antarctic Explorer Express.'

There are three options — an Argentina return trip, an Argentina to Chile itinerary or a Chile to Argentina sailing.

Punta Arenas in Chile and El Calafate in Argentina are the gateways to Patagonia’s hiking trails.

Private transfers

Private vehicles will transfer passengers between regions and they will stay in boutique hotels and eco-friendly trekking lodges.

There will be spectacular walks each day with expert guides, exploring one of the planet’s greatest frontiers that sprawls between Argentina and Chile.

There is a 50% discount on the Patagonia treks for bookings made and deposited by September 30, plus 5% off the Antarctic voyage.
