Heritage Explorer will reposition to Auckland in January for round voyages
New Zealand’s family-owned Heritage Expeditions will reposition its 18-passenger expedition yacht Heritage Explorer to Auckland next January.

It will make eight-day round voyages on January 7 and January 14, 2022, as well as March 12, to the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park and the Bay of Islands.

Most scenic regions

Commercial director and expedition leader Aaron Russ said the voyages will be a 'celebration of New Zealand’s early history and conservation success’ in one of the country’s most scenic regions.

Zodiacs and kayaks

There are five marine reserves and more than 50 islands in the Hauraki Gulf and some 144 islands in the Bay of Islands. Heritage Explorer’s passengers will visit some of these remote sanctuaries, where native wildlife flourishes, in Zodiacs and kayaks.

Fares are from NZ$5,775 per passenger.
