Grant Hunter said Astor has a loyal following in Western Australia
The Australia ceo for Cruise and Maritime Voyages, Grant Hunter, said the company is fully committed to returning Astor to Perth for a fifth consecutive season in 2017/18.

Hunter said Astor, which has been homeported in Fremantle for the past four Australian summers, will arrive on December 8 for a fifth season after a 54-night voyage from Tilbury via the West Indies, Panama Canal and the South Pacific.

He said CMV currently makes more port calls in Western Australia than any other cruise line and will make 29 stops at West Australian ports during Astor’s upcoming season.

As well as Fremantle, Astor is scheduled for several visits to Albany, Busselton and Esperance.

‘Western Australia has a large, knowledgeable and enthusiastic cruising public that supports Astor’s premium relaxed cruise product,’ Hunter said. 'So CMV will continue to support them.’
