Fred. Olsen has revealed that almost half of all its 2017 cruise places have been sold, which is up by over 5%, compared to the same period in 2016.
Neil Herbert, head of sales for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: 'Whilst we already have a very high guest repeat rate – with over 60% of Fred. Olsen cruisers returning time and time again – we are also attracting a significant number of customers who are "new-to-cruise", or "new-to-Fred. Olsen".'
As part of its ‘Turn of Year’ sales campaign, Fred. Olsen is offering incentives to guests including free upgrades and all-inclusive’ drinks package.
A no single-supplements’ deal on a selection of ten 2017/18 cruise holidays (not combined with the above sales offer) is available until March 1, 2017. A solo traveller can book from a selection of twin room grades without having to pay any sole-occupancy charge.
Destinations available include Norway, the Caribbean, Spain, the Baltic and South America.
In addition, Fred. Olsen is also promoting ‘Free on shore spending money’ on 16 voyages in 2017, available until end January 2017, whereby guests can receive up to €125 (or the equivalent value of currency relative to the cruise destination) once on board.
The UK-based cruise line will be launching its new 2018/19 cruise programme in March 2017.
