Denella Ri’chard - more 'fun and interactive' courses are coming
A series of new Holland America Line Academy Specialist Training Courses for travel agents is kicking off with 'Alaska and the Yukon: The Great Land = Great Sales for You,' now available on the PartnerSHIPS portal at GoHAL.com or halacademy.com.

Travel partners who complete the course by Nov. 18 automatically are entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win an Alaska cruise for two in a verandah stateroom.

'Alaska and the Yukon: The Great Land = Great Sales for You' takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete and includes information about the places visited, activities on board and ashore, ways clients can discover The Great Land, prime clients to target for Land+Sea Journeys and sales strategies to increase profits.

The presentation also takes agents through the benefits and features of newly opened Denali Square and other enhancements to Land+Sea Journeys.

More than 18,000 travel professionals have completed the Academy core course, and now the specialist courses will give agents targeted tools and knowledge they can use to grow their businesses, according to HAL's Denella Ri’chard, senior director, trade communications and engagement, who oversaw the creation of the new courses.

She added that more of these 'fun and interactive' courses are coming for additional destinations. Among them will be the Panama Canal and Europe.
