Royal Caribbean takes Quantum 'Dynamic Dining' to Aspen event

Royal Caribbean International is taking a taste of Quantum-class 'Dynamic Dining' to Aspen as the official cruise partner of the 32nd Annual FOOD & WINE Classic, Friday through Sunday.

Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas will each have 18 restaurants, including ones created with well-known partner chefs.

For example, today in Aspen the line is showcasing three of Quantum's signature dining options at the FOOD & WINE Classic Grand Tasting Pavilion. They include Jamie’s Italian, the popular restaurant from Britain’s Jamie Oliver, featuring rustic Italian favorites made with seasonal ingredients.

Devinly Decadence at Solarium Bistro offers foods under 500 calories designed by Devin Alexander, media personality, New York Times best-selling author and chef of highly-rated television show, 'The Biggest Loser.'

And Michael’s Genuine Pub will be an American gastropub at sea and the next evolution of Royal Caribbean’s relationship with James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz, offering simply prepared food and drinks made from artisanal producers.

On Saturday Royal Caribbean will spotlight four of the complimentary, full-service restaurants on Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas. The include The Grande, recalling the era of classic European ocean liners and where every night is formal night, and Silk, with an adventurous Pan-Asian menu.

Sunday will feature American Icon Grill, a take on the classic American road trip with regional favorites on a comfort-style menu, and Chic, for contemporary cuisine with fresh ingredients for the modern palate.

For its pièce de résistance, Royal Caribbean is presenting the Wonderland at FOOD & WINE Classic event at the top of Aspen Mountain. Inspired by the Quantum-class Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine restaurant, the event will feature four chefs well as Royal Caribbean’s own Cornelius Gallagher creating recipes inspired from Wonderland’s menu.

Royal Caribbean also is covering the FOOD & WINE Classic on its Twitter (@RoyalCaribbean) and Instagram (@RoyalCaribbean) pages and invites consumers to follow the conversation in real time using the hashtag #ThisChangesEverything.

The FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen is the epicurean brand’s signature event, bringing together authorities on wine and food at more than 80 cooking demonstrations and wine seminars. In addition, over 300 wines and luxury lifestyle brands gather together in the Grand Tasting Pavilion, the epicenter of the event, to feature and sample their newest products.
