Seabourn Encore arrives in Sydney on the evening of February 1
The world’s newest cruise ship, the luxurious 600-passenger Seabourn Encore which was named in Singapore three weeks ago, arrived in Sydney Wednesday night.

Seabourn director of sales Australia Tony Archbold said it is a huge vote of confidence in Australia’s appeal as a cruise destination that Seabourn Encore is sailing in local waters during her maiden season.

Her arrival came on the first day of Sydney’s busiest cruise month, with a total of 26 ships scheduled to make 45 calls to Sydney across the 28 days of February, including 15 days where two or more ships will visit.

There will be another ‘Royal Rendezvous’ when Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth are in Sydney on February 25.
