Brightline, Florida's intercity passenger rail service, introduced commissionable bookings in its new Travel Professional Program.

Qualified US and Canadian advisors can now book clients’ travel on Brightline between Orlando and South Florida (Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach) with access to the lowest published fares and earn commissions of up to 10% for both Premium and Smart services.

'Agents can connect their clients to and from the "Theme Park Capital of the World" to South Florida’s iconic resorts and even the "Cruise Capital of the World,"' said Brightline's Johanna Rojas, SVP partnerships and sales.

'Heroes to [our] clients'

'Brightline has taken the stress out of getting to South Florida cruise ports,' according to Danny Ickes, an independent Cruise Planners franchise owner. 'Booking the service makes advisors heroes for their clients, who can start relaxing from the time they arrive at the station and continue from the train to the port.'

'Station to Vacation' cruise offer

The Travel Professional Program supports the 'From Station to Vacation' cruise offer, which connects passengers to Florida's East Coast home ports. When reserving a Premium ticket, a complimentary Brightline+ (Uber or shared shuttles) ride is included, so travelers get picked up from home or hotel and taken to the train, and from the train to the cruise port, all in one ticket.

The Premium ticket also includes access to exclusive station lounges, priority boarding, extra space and drinks and snacks along the way.

Added sales manager for the trade

Furthering a commitment to travel professionals, Brightline is also growing its sales team by adding Ralph Ebra as senior manager of distribution, dedicated to partnerships with travel advisors.

Last month, Brightline increased its service to meet the demands of its recent Orlando expansion, offering 15 departures in each direction between Orlando and South Florida.
