Piano Land, the first ship owned by China’s Twinkle Travel Cruise, was named in Xiamen on Thursday ahead of its maiden voyage tomorrow.

The 69,153gt ship, built in 1995 as Oriana for P&O Cruises, has capacity for 1,870 passengers and 760 crew.

Piano Land will be homeported at Xiamen and sail to Northeast Asia.

Twinkle Travel Cruise is a joint venture between China Travel Service and China COSCO Shipping Corp Ltd.

V. Ships Leisure is managing both technical and hotel operations of vessel.
