The former Pullmantur Cruises’ executive will be taking over the role from Carles Domingo who announced his retirement from the subsidiary of Global Port Holdings.
Rodriguez has spent the last seven years as director of port, ground and shorex operations at the Spanish cruise brand.
'In the new role he will be working closely with local stakeholders to continue providing the best service in Barcelona port,' commented Creuers Barcelona.
Domingo will depart Creuers Barcelona at the end of June after heading up the company since 1999 when it was established to operate five public cruise terminals at the Port of Barcelona.
Domingo told Seatrade Cruise News he intends to continue working as an independent cruise consultant.
