Two 11- and 12-day itineraries are planned for the end of the year, sailing the Red Sea up to Suez and including visits to Cairo
From November 20, 2021 to March 5, 2022 La Belle de l’Adriatique will sail from Hurghada, Egypt along the Sinaï Peninsula on an eight-day itinerary that includes visits to historic sites and natural landmarks in both Egypt and Jordan.

The territory is not unfamiliar to the French Strassburg-based company: ‘Even if our itinerary was a bit different, we sailed there between 2007 and 2010,’ explained a CroisiEurope spokesperson. ‘We then stopped due to the Arab Spring events and had planned to restart it last year.

‘Due to the sanitary crisis, we had to postpone it to 2021. We are glad to be back there,’ they concluded.

Itinerary

In Hurghada, passengers will have the opportunity to discover rich underwater life before La Belle de l’Adriatique makes a two-day stay in Aqaba, Jordan for excursions to the Wadi Rum Desert and Petra.

Back in Egypt, the vessel will call at Sharm El Sheikh where a free excursion to the Ras Mohammed Nature Reserve will take place, and where passengers have the chance to encounter marine life and coral reefs through a glass-bottom boat.

Returning to Hurghada, a free full-day excursion to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings will follow.

An optional three-day pre-program in Cairo includes visits to the pyramids of Kheops, Khephren and Mykerinos on the Giza Plateau, and the Cairo Egyptian Museum.

Additional 2021 itineraries

Two 11- and 12-day itineraries are planned for the end of the year. They will sail the Red Sea up to Suez and include visits to Cairo, with free excursions to Denderah – one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt – and the Coptic Orthodox Monastery of Saint Anthony, the oldest monastery in the world.

La Belle de l’Adriatique

Built for CroisiEurope in 2007 and refurbished in 2017, La Belle de l’Adriatique is the first of the line’s two ocean-going vessels and can host up to 197 passengers.

Acquired in 2019 from Silversea Cruises, its second ocean-going ship is the yacht-type La Belle des Océans which carries 120 passengers.

CroisiEurope has a fleet of 55 river boats.
