Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Andrea DeMarco was guest of honour at a formal dinner Thursday at premier harbourside restaurant Catalina to celebrate Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ 30th anniversary.

In 1992 two one-ship lines merged — Radisson Cruises and Seven Seas Cruises — and became Radisson Seven Seas Cruises.

It became Regent Seven Seas Cruises in 2006.

Long-standing representation

Another special guest was Diane Patrick, who owned Wiltrans International with her late husband James.

They were representing Seven Seas Cruises and its ship, Song of Flower, at the time of the merger.

They represented the new company from 1992 until Regent Seven Seas Cruises opened its own regional office in Sydney late 2015, headed by former Silversea President EMEA and Asia Pacific, Steve Odell.

President’s messsage

Regent’s President and CEO Jason Montague wasn’t able to attend the celebration but sent the following message:

‘We are incredibly excited to be celebrating our pearl anniversary three decades of setting the standard in luxury travel and I cannot wait to see what the next 30 years will bring.

‘This wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support from our incredible team both shipboard and shoreside, loyal guests and valued travel partners.’
