‘Wollongong delivers some wonderful opportunities for cruise passengers,’ Jill Abel said
Stefano Borzone, SVP global port operations and development for Princess Cruises, is a keynote speaker at this year’s 25th conference of the Australian Cruise Association.

ACA 2023 will be held in the NSW regional port of Wollongong, 85km (53 miles) south of Sydney, August 30-September 1.

Borzone will share the podium with Natasha Montesalvo of EarthCheck, an international tourism advisory group headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, and Mick Fogg, Ponant Asia Pacific’s director of expeditions and destination development.

Another guest speaker, Sandra Lau of Viva Energy, will discuss the future of alternate fuels and their accessibility in Australia.

Full steam ahead

Tourism Australia MD Phillipa Harrison and Adele Labine-Romain of Deloitte Access Economics are also on the programme, which has the theme ‘full steam ahead,’ at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach.

‘With such a positive outlook for cruise both at home and overseas, our conference will provide the perfect opportunity to come together and ensure we are well positioned to take advantage of future opportunities,’ ACA CEO Jill Abel said.
