Cunard’s ‘Voyage of Sporting Greats’ features celebrated Australasians

A lineup of top Australian and New Zealand sporting figures are the star attractions of Queen Elizabeth’s seven-night round voyage from Sydney to Tasmania on February 13, 2024.

Former Australian Football League legend and Australian of the Year 2014 Adam Goodes, Australia’s most successful female professional golfer Karrie Webb and Amanda McLaren, daughter of  New Zealand’s Formula 1 driver Bruce McLaren, will join Australian cricketer and commentator Brett Lee and Australian television sports presenter Mark Beretta.

‘We are extremely excited to host some of the biggest local names in sport,’ Cunard Director Australia and New Zealand Katrina McAlpine said.

Once in a lifetime opportunity

‘The Voyage of Sporting Greats offers sports fans a once in a lifetime chance to meet and engage with some of our country’s most famous sporting icons in one place,’ McAlpine said. 

The sports guests will mingle with passengers and will give entertaining talks about their careers.

There will also be sport-themed shore excursions in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.
