A Seatrade Cruise Global panel will explore how some of cruising's most strategic thinkers approach the business.

They are Alfredo Suarez, SVP corporate strategy and development, Royal Caribbean Group; Colin Farmer, senior managing director and head of management committee, Certares; Per Bjørnsen, CEO, V.Ships Leisure; and Barbara Muckermann, chief commercial officer, Silversea Cruises.

Driving innovation, optimizing revenue

This 'Strategic Thinkers' session will delve into topics like brand optimization and cross-brand synergies, how the guest experience is evolving to meet changing consumer trends, characteristics that make joint venture/acquisition opportunities, driving innovation, optimizing revenue and how to effect change in a big global company.

Opportunities born of disruption

The panel will also look at opportunities that can come from disruption, how the pandemic has impacted strategic plans, and strategies for emerging and moving forward with the added challenge of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The session will be moderated by Anne Kalosh, editor, Seatrade Cruise News, and is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. April 26.
