Josh Weinstein's appointment takes effect Aug. 1 when he also becomes president and CEO of Carnival Corp. & plc
Josh Weinstein, currently chief operations officer for Carnival Corp. & plc, was appointed to the boards of both companies effective Aug. 1.

On Aug. 1, Weinstein will also assume the roles of president, CEO and chief climate officer of Carnival Corp. & plc, as Arnold Donald moves to vice chairman.

Donald is already a director and will continue serving on the boards.
