Berstad, who has held various roles in tourism, sales, marketing, administration and management, said that it is ‘with humility and pride’ that she will now help shape the future of Norway's cruise industry.
Tor Mikkel Tokvam, Cruise Norway’s chairman of the board, commented, ‘We see an industry that is already undergoing major changes, where the focus in recent years has been on a sustainable alignment of the industry in order to create large positive local ripple effects, while at the same time meeting the international emissions obligations.
‘We at Cruise Norway want to take ownership of this transition going even faster - and make the cruise industry in Norway a pioneering model internationally.’

Tokvam expressed gratitude to Tangerås ‘for a job very well done,’ and said Cruise Norway looks forward to further cooperation with Visit Eidfjord, which is a network member.
