Swan Hellenic announces Joe Maloney as VP sales, North America

Joe Maloney, who has 20 years of C-suite cruise and travel industry experience, was named VP sales, North America at Swan Hellenic. 

Maloney takes over from Gordon Dirker. He will report to Alfredo Spadon, SVP global sales and marketing, who remarked, ‘Joe is a powerhouse professional with strong strategic vision. But, above all, he truly appreciates the unique experiences Swan Hellenic offers sophisticated modern cruise-goers with a thirst for authentic exploration and discovery. 

‘He’s a perfect fit for the pioneering spirit and high service standards that have always distinguished Swan Hellenic.’

Spadon went on thanked Dirker for his ‘valued work.’ 

Joe Maloney

Maloney’s industry experience most recently includes as assistant VP, travel product, at The Auto Club Group, and as VP, USA sales and marketing at Scenic USA. Prior to this, he spent a decade in similarly senior roles at The Travel Corporation.
