TECO 2030 hires Erling Hoftun as VP special projects

Erling Hoftun has more than 30 years’ experience in the environmental technology industry, predominantly in the cruise sector.
TECO 2030, an engineering and equipment development company focused on reducing maritime pollution, hired Erling Hoftun as VP special projects.

Hoftun has more than 30 years’ experience in the environmental technology industry, predominantly in the cruise sector. In 1993, he was among the founders of Scanship, currently trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange as Vow. He was educated as an electronics engineer at Gothenburg Technical Institute.

'Erling has an ideal background from environmental technologies and construction industries and will play an important role in the development of TECO 2030’s future,' CEO Tore Enger said.

Fuel cell development

Hoftun will work closely with TECO 2030’s technology partner AVL on the next steps for fuel cell development.

'Together we will strongly contribute to decarbonize the maritime and offshore industries,' Hoftun said.
