Lisbon Cruise Port set a new passenger record recently when it undertook the simultaneous turnaround of two cruise ships and a large ship transit call.

Norwegian Getaway’s full turnaround operation involved disembarking 4,500 passengers and welcomed around 4,700 guests for the next voyage while Swan Hellenic’s SH Diana made a turnaround of 120 passengers, reaffirming the port's commitment to catering to vessels of all sizes and types.

At the same time, the port welcomed Mein Schiff 1 on a transit call with more than 3,000 passengers on board.

Duarte Cabral, general manager of Lisbon Cruise Port, expressed his delight on the smooth operations calling it ‘a significant milestone’ and ‘a testament to the port’s terminal facilities, impeccable planning, and unwavering dedication to passenger comfort and satisfaction.’
