MSC Seaside will visit Brazil for the first time in November
MSC Preziosa, MSC Seaside and MSC Splendida will homeport in Brazil, where they will operate from November 2021 to March 2022, with MSC Cruises vessels also set to be deployed in South Africa this upcoming austral summer.

Brazil

This comes after Brazil’s local health authority, Anvisa, granted permission for the resumption of cruising after a 20-month hiatus.

It will be MSC Seaside’s first season in the country.

South Africa

South Africa’s government is permitting cruise ships to operate this upcoming austral summer in line with national health protocols; MSC Cruises is awaiting news on specific guidelines for visitors before reconfirming its 2021/22 cruise schedules.

Yesterday, Azamara announced six South Africa voyages.

Restarts

MSC Cruises currently has 12 ships operating, with plans for up to 15 to be in operation for the 2021 winter season.
