Enchanted Princess debuts, naming set for Dec. 13

Enchanted Princess, whose inaugural cruise season begins Nov. 10 from Port Everglades, will be named at festivities on Dec. 13.

The naming ceremony will be broadcast on Princess.com, the line's Facebook page and YouTube channels.

Seventh Princess ship to enter service

Enchanted Princess is a 'significant milestone for Princess and we look forward to the first guests experiencing all this gorgeous ship has to offer,' Princess President John Padgett said.

'Enchanted Princess is our seventh ship to enter service since the global pause, signifying our successful path forward, with many loyal and new guests ready to sail with us and our teammates ready to deliver meaningful and memorable vacations at an incredible value,' he added.

Fifteen 10-day Caribbean itineraries round-trip Port Everglades are planned before Enchanted Princess heads to Europe.

Fifth Royal-class ship

The 145,000gt ship follows sisters Sky Princess (2019), Majestic Princess (2017), Regal Princess (2014) and Royal Princess (2013).

It was delivered by Fincantieri's Monfalcone yard on Sept. 30, 2020.

Enchanted Princess offers the MedallionClass experience, Sky Suites and Take Five Jazz Lounge (both first introduced on Sky Princess) and 25 bars and restaurants including the most alfresco dining options of any Princess ship. Production shows include 'Rock Opera' and '5-SKIES' with its technologically enhanced production and spectacular digital effects and acrobatics.

Among the signature venues and amenities are the Piazza, Lotus Spa, The Sanctuary, Movies Under the Stars, Princess Live! Café, Good Spirits at Sea Bar and Camp Discovery Youth & Teen Center and Discovery at SEA programs.
