MSC Bellissima will sail 21 voyages in the Red Sea this summer
MSC Cruises’ MSC Bellissima sailed into its new homeport of Jeddah over the weekend, as the vessel prepares for its maiden season in the Red Sea.

The ship will embark on three- and four-night sailings from the end of July through to late October calling Safaga, Egypt and Aqaba, Jordan.

At 171,598gt, the line claims MSC Bellissima is the largest cruise ship to have ever operated in the Red Sea.

The eighth MSC Cruises vessel to resume operations

Five MSC Cruises’ ships are currently sailing in the Mediterranean: MSC Grandiosa, MSC Seaside, MSC Orchestra, MSC Splendida and MSC Magnifica.

A sixth ship, MSC Virtuosa, has operated cruises around the UK for British passengers only since May 20; MSC Seaview is currently cruising in the Baltic Sea.

Winter 2021/22 Red Sea voyages from Jeddah commence in November.

Operations in the Caribbean

From August 2, MSC Meraviglia will resume Caribbean cruises from Miami and will be joined in the region by MSC Divina from September 18, which recommences operations from Port Canaveral.

MSC Seashore will come into service in August with voyages in the West Med before the line’s newest flagship transfers in November to Miami, also for a season in the Caribbean.
