Norwegian Cruise Line created new autumn 2024 Caribbean itineraries for Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Epic, which had been scheduled for Europe then.

Norwegian Getaway will sail from New Orleans beginning Oct. 20 and Norwegian Epic from Port Canaveral Oct. 30.

Guest demand

NCL cited 'guest demand for warm-weather destinations this fall.'

The ships will be returning from Europe following their summer season of Mediterranean and Greek Isles voyages.

'A no-brainer'

'The Caribbean continues to be a hotspot for our guests all around the world, especially during the fall and winter seasons,' NCL President David Herrera said. 'We are constantly looking to provide our guests with the best vacation possible especially from accessible homeports, and it was a no-brainer to bring two of our largest ships to sail more picturesque, tropical cruises from New Orleans and Port Canaveral.'

Itineraries will include NCL's private destinations, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and Harvest Caye in Belize.

The new cruises open for sale in February.
