World Traveller and World Navigator will sail 11 expeditions ranging from seven to 12 nights, with departures from Tromsø, Oslo, Longyearbyen, Reykjavik and Kangerlussuaq.
A seven-night expedition from Tromsø to Longyearbyen departing June 21 features ports along the Norwegian coast, including Hammerfest and Skarsvåg (North Cape), before culminating in Svalbard.
A nine-night Arctic adventure sails round-trip Svalbard (Longyearbyen), with its polar landscapes and wildlife encounters. Departures are June 28 and July 7, with an extended 11-night expedition on July 16.
Greenland, a new addition
New for 2024 are expeditions visiting Greenland, enabling travelers to explore Svalbard, Iceland, and Greenland all in one journey with towering icebergs, vibrant coastal villages and the northern lights. Expeditions of nine to 12 night are available on Aug. 5, Aug. 15, Aug. 25, Sept. 1 and Sept. 6.
In the peak of the polar summer, an 11-night expedition from Oslo to Reykjavik on Aug. 10 features Norway's Bergen, Stavanger, Flåm, Olden, and Ålesund before crossing the Norwegian Sea to Icelandic ports including Seyðisfjörður, Akureyri and Isafjörður.
Included charter air from New York or Oslo
On expeditions embarking or concluding in Longyearbyen or Kangerlussuaq, charter flights are included.
Expeditions departing or ending in Longyearbyen include air from Oslo.
For World Voyager voyages starting or ending at Kangerlussuaq on Aug. 15, charter air from Oslo is also included, while expeditions beginning or ending on Sept. 1 aboard World Navigator, include charter air from New York JFK. The New York flights to and from Kangerlussuaq are offered on two voyages departing Aug. 21 from Reykjavik or Sept. 1 from Kangerlussuaq.
Included immersion experience
Every Atlas Arctic expedition in 2024 includes a free cultural immersion experience, offering insights into indigenous communities such as Ittoqqortoormiit, Paimutt and Ilulisat in Greenland, where travelers engage in local traditions, taste regional treats and explore cultural nuances. In Longyearbyen, a panoramic drive and a welcome aboard event features a talk on local life, complemented by delicacies such as reindeer canapés, coal mine beer and regional chocolate.
