Aurora Expedition's global head of marketing, Victoria Primrose said, ‘With the delivery of Sylvia Earle, our second purpose-built expedition ship launching in October 2021, we have the ability to widen our offering.’
She added, ‘Whilst polar voyages remain core to the program, we have introduced new itineraries and destinations such as Ireland and Costa Rica which will offer our customers breathtaking experiences in some of the most biodiverse and impressive places on the planet.’
Some of the new highlights of the 2021/22 program include a 25 day voyage to South Georgia & Antarctica Odyssey South Sandwich Islands on Sylvia Earle.
Full solar eclipse
Aurora’s second purpose-built ship will also feature a 17 day sub-Antarctic safari visiting the Falkland Islands and a 16 day solar eclipse in Antarctica in December 2021, when a full solar eclipse will occur in the Weddell Sea region.
Greg Mortimer will sail new itineraries to Costa Rica. In Guanacaste, passengers will explore a slice of Costa Rica rarely visited by expedition vessels including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Guanacaste Conservation Area, hiking in rainforests and venturing to peaks in Rincón de la Vieja National Park, where archaeological sites offer a glimpse into Costa Rica’s past.
Also new on Greg Moritmer is a 13 day west of Ireland voyage hosted by Greg Mortimer.
Launching with the new 2021/22 program is an exclusive early bird deal offering a saving of up to 30% on new voyages booked and deposited by March 31, 2020, or until sold out, whichever comes first.
