Celestyal has introduced a new drinks programme on both of its ships.

The move comes ahead of Celestyal Discovery’s maiden voyage and following the recent refurbishment of Celestyal Journey. The brand also recently announced a revamp of its speciality dining menus.

Alchemy cocktails

Available at the Star Lounge on Celestyal Discovery and Blue Bar & Lounge on Celestyal Journey, a new ‘Alchemy Cocktail Menu’ features a selection of 23 new artisan cocktails and mocktails including: Coconut Treasures: a tropical cocktail made with Bombay Sapphire gin, Malibu and Blue Curaçao mixed with fresh lemon, vanilla syrup and coconut milk, and topped with raspberry, pineapple, rosemary and tuile.

The Sorceress blends sparkling Pinot Noir rosé, sweet and sour mix, raspberry and plum syrup garnished with sesame seeds and dry rose flowers while Calm Seas is a fusion of non-alcoholic Chardonnay, aromatic Seedlip, tonic and fresh lemon juice, presented with a garnish of dried flowers, rosemary, raspberry and dehydrated orange.

Lee Haslett, CCO at Celestyal, said: ‘With cocktails dominating recent bar trends we’re very excited to introduce our new “Alchemy Cocktail Menu” across the fleet.

Trained mixologists

‘The menu features the most sophisticated cocktail trends, from matcha infusions to giant ice cubes and the most intricate skeleton leave garnishes. Our specially trained mixologists have created a work of art collection of imaginative cocktails and mocktails, incorporating local ingredients and using techniques and flavours inspired by the destinations we visit.’

All the new cocktails will be available on departures sailing from March 2024.
