True North Adventure Cruises comes into effect February 1
Broome-based North Star Cruises, which operates the luxury expedition ship True North, is celebrating its 30th anniversary and is changing  its name.

On February 1 the renamed company, True North Adventure Cruises, will  have a new website (www.truenorth.com.au) and email addresses will end with truenorth.com.au.

The mono-hull 50mtr ship is the company’s second True North and was purpose-built in Western Australia by Austal in 2005 with accommodation for 36 passengers and a crew of 20.

She operates Kimberley Wilderness Cruises, West Papua and Papua New Guinea Cruises and Australian Coastal Cruises.

She is able to go where bigger ships can’t and another advantage is her full-time onboard six-passenger helicopter.

Brand manager Peter Trembath said there will be new facilities for passengers embarking and disembarking in Broome and new ‘Barra Bonanza’ fishing itineraries.
