Three brands of the Royal Caribbean Group moved into a new office at 101 Miller Street, North Sydney, with views of their ships arriving and departing the Overseas Passenger Terminal and White Bay.

It is understood to be the first time the three companies — Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises — have been housed under a single roof, apart from the Miami headquarters.

First office in 2008

Royal Caribbean International GM Australasia Gavin Smith, who had been president of Carnival Australia, opened the first dedicated office in Australia for Royal Caribbean Cruises in December 2008.

For the previous 17 years, Royal Caribbean had been represented by Richard Cranmer of Discover the World Marketing.

Collaboration

‘There is no better feeling than looking out of the new office window onto Sydney Harbour and admiring our magnificent ships,’ Smith said.

‘I know all of the teams are really looking forward to collaborating with each other in this new space.’
