On these cruises dedicated entirely to solo travelers, passengers don't pay a single-occupancy supplement for any cabin or suite.
'Guests will enjoy luxurious accommodations and fine dining while on board, as well as fascinating excursions into classic cities and lesser-known towns, all at an exceptional value,' said Riviera's Marilyn Conroy, VP sales and marketing North America.
Riviera debuted solo traveler itineraries on the Danube and Rhine rivers in 2018 to accommodate increasing demand. The line has since added new itineraries and departure dates on a regular basis. In 2020, seven solo traveler itineraries will be available.
The three new itineraries
The newly added cruises include the March 30 'Amsterdam, Kinderdijk & the Dutch Bulbfields,' five days, priced starting at $1,389, and the March 31 'The Seine, Paris & Normandy,' eight days, starting at $2,959. The Oct. 24 'Medieval Germany,' also eight days, is priced from $2,999.
Other solo departures
Other solo departures include 'The Blue Danube,' eight days, starting at $2,079 (March 30, April 3 and Nov. 2) and 'Burgundy, the River Rhone & Provence,' eight days, from $2,679 (April 2).
Further solo cruises are 'Rhine, Strasbourg & Heidelberg,' eight days, starting at $2,459 (Oct. 31) and 'The Douro, Porto & Salamanca,' eight days, from $2,729 (Nov. 8 and Nov. 13).
Plus, a limited number of solo rooms on every cruise
In addition to the single-supplement-free departures, Riviera River Cruises makes a limited number of cabins available with no single supplement on every departure throughout the year.
The line operates 15 itineraries on 10 European waterways.
