Cruise Planners promoted two leaders, Theresa Scalzitti and Scott Koepf, to new roles and welcomed Jeffrey Sherota to the company.

Formerly chief sales officer, Scalzitti became chief operations officer. A 28-year travel industry veteran, she is marking seven years at Cruise Planners. Scalzitti has developed new marketing programs, driven strong annual sales growth and overseen several new programs and tools. She will continue to oversee sales, marketing, business development, groups, CPV, franchise marketing, PR and corporate relations, business intelligence, creative programs, special programs and the CARE team.

Recently Scalzitti served as the godmother for Atlas Ocean Voyages’ World Traveller.

Scott Koepf

Koepf, formerly SVP strategic development, was promoted to chief strategy officer. A 38-year industry veteran, he has been a member of Cruise Planners' executive team for five years. During that time, Koepf has overseen award-winning training programs, the events team and franchise sales. He will continue to lead franchise sales, training and events. 

Koepf was inducted into the Cruise Lines International Association's 2021 North America Hall of Fame

Cruise Planners' C-suite now consists of Michelle Fee, CEO & founder; Brian Shultz, chief information officer, Scalzitti and Koepf.

Jeffrey Sherota

In addition, the company welcomed Sherota as VP operations. With 27 years in the travel industry, he spent the past 15 years as a part of the executive team at World Travel Holdings. This new role will be responsible for overseeing the CARE Team, franchise marketing and special programs. Sherota will report to Scalzitti.
