Theroux will sail aboard Silver Dawn's 14-day round-trip from Copenhagen, embarking Oct. 6. He'll talk about his book 'The Tao of Travel: Enlightenments from Lives on the Road,' with a question and answer session to follow.
The cruise will call at Ålesund, Narvik, Leknes, Tromsø, Alta, Sortland, Flåm and Bergen.
S.A.L.T. excursion in Norway
Besides Theroux's participation, other voyage highlights include exploring Bergen by boat and an introduction to 'naustkultur' — Norway's boating and sea culture — on its S.A.L.T. Island Fjord Taste Excursion.
