After embarkations at the ports of Civitavecchia (Rome), Marseille and Barcelona, the vessel will cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean, sailing through the Panama Canal.

Calls at Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Mexico will follow, before MSC Poesia heads to San Francisco.

The ship’s Pacific leg will include visits to Maui (Hawaii), Samoa (Fiji), Auckland, Sydney, Australia's Gold Coast, Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef, Papua New Guinea and the Philippines. It will arrive in Japan during cherry blossom season with calls at Kyoto and Tokyo, before continuing to Shanghai, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.

After crossing the Indian Ocean to the Gulf region of the Middle East, Poesia will return to the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal.

The cruise includes seven extended overnight stays, including in Sydney and Tokyo.
