Carla Salvadó will head one of the new departments, Commercial and Marketing
The Barcelona Port Authority (APB) created two new departments, one overseeing innovation and strategy and the other, commercial and marketing.

The Department of Innovation and Business Strategy, headed jointly by Santiago García-Milá and Emma Cobos, will be responsible for coordinating APB's IV Strategic Plan 2021-2025, which rests on three pillars: sustainability and the environment, social aspects and the economy, incorporating innovation and digitalization as strategic vectors.

The department, reporting jointly to the offices of APB Chairman Mercé Conesa and Director General José Alberto Carbonell, will be responsible for carrying out innovative projects within the vision of APB to the year 2040.

Commercial and marketing

The Commercial and Marketing Department will be led by Carla Salvadó, who rejoined APB late last year. She reports to Carbonell. This department is responsible for defining and developing APB's marketing activity, with the mission of overseeing the orientation of services to the port's various customers and carrying out quantitative and qualitative analysis and market research.
