Heading into Carnival Cruise Line's biggest Alaska season ever, the brand has special bonus savings for bookings made April 5 and 6.

Carnival will offer 49 Alaska departures this season, on three ships. Carnival Miracle will embark from San Francisco and Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor will sail round-trip Seattle. A variety of itineraries visit destinations like Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and Tracy Arm Fjord, for scenic cruising.

More than 100,000 passengers expected

'Our expanded program will bring approximately more than 100,000 guests on unforgettable cruise vacations to Alaska this summer from both Seattle and San Francisco with three great ships,' Carnival President Christine Duffy said.

Savings, onboard credit, reduced deposits

The special bonus sale includes early saver rates and up to $100 instant savings per stateroom for sailings booked April 5 and 6. Additionally, passengers may receive up to a $50 onboard credit and 50% reduced deposits per person for all Alaska sailings.

From Seattle, Carnival Splendor is scheduled to begin sailing May 2, which also marks the first time the ship will carry passengers in two years. It is normally based in Australia.

Carnival Splendor will complete the 23-ship fleet's return to service.
