Carnival opens Luminosa 'first to know' sign-up

The ship will undergo some modest updates to become Carnival Luminosa
Carnival Cruise Line opened a site where travelers can register to be the 'first to know' about Carnival Luminosa itineraries and sales promotions.

The site is here.

As earlier reported, Costa Luminosa will join the Carnival fleet in September and begin service as Carnival Luminosa in November from Brisbane, Australia.

The ship will operate seasonally through April from Brisbane, then reposition to Seattle, where it will sail Alaska itineraries from May through September 2023, before returning to Brisbane.

Brisbane itineraries to come soon

Cruises from Brisbane will be announced shortly, and they will initially include visits to Australian favorites such as the Great Barrier Reef and Airlie Beach, then, as destinations open over time, ports such as Noumea and Lifou Isle in New Caledonia, Port Vila and Mystery Island in Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.

Luminosa is a sister of four other Spirit-class ships sailing for Carnival. Given the short timeline to get Carnival Luminosa ready for service, it will undergo some modest updates to change over from Costa to Carnival in the next few months ahead of the November service start-up.
